Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:
Undergraduate
- Demonstrate an informed and coherent engagement with theological accounts of creation.
- Develop confidence in engaging with a diverse range of texts, statements, and appropriate literature representing the manner in which the broader Christian tradition, indigenous traditions, and other religious traditions, have developed understandings of creation.
- Describe and evaluate the range of practices deployed by Christian communities in order to respond to and engage with creation.
- Exhibit capacity for independent theological reflection upon a range of issues arising from the unit.
- For CT: Formulate research criteria and methodologies for engaging in theologies of creation in contemporary contexts.
- For DA: Describe and justify an integrated level of application of unit learning to the practice of ministry or mission in the contemporary world.
Postgraduate
