The Geoffrey Blackburn Library, has a strong and comprehensive collection of books and journals supporting all the foundational and specialist areas of theological studies offered through Whitley College.
The library, together with the University of Divinity Library Hub provides students with access to a huge range of print and electronic resources, as well as the expert assistance of library staff, who are theologically trained.
Special strengths of the library include its collections in biblical studies, mission and the Australian context, as well as the Baptist Historical Collection.
Currently, space limitations at Whitley means that a portion of the collection is housed offsite. However, items can be requested for retrieval and are generally available for collection at Whitley on Mondays.
Within the library, there is some study space, wi-fi access, a PC and printer for student use, a document scanner, and computers for searching the catalogue.
The hours of opening vary from semester to semester depending upon the schedule of classes.
