Whitley College is one of the main providers of theologically focused research across the country. Our student cohort is growing, and we currently have 21 students enrolled in our PhD program. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, vocations and contexts, and this adds to our rich and diverse research culture. Research topics are interesting and diverse, and we continue to invest significantly in this space, to offer our students the best support and experience.
Our PhDs are accredited by the University of Divinity (UD). As a college of the UD, we have access to word-class scholars and resources, including access to Melbourne University’s resources through a recent library agreement.
Whitley shares the UD’s vision to respond to key issues in the contemporary world through collaborative and meaningful research projects. We also partner together for community events that demonstrate thought leadership on issues that affect the church and humanity.
