I feel very privileged to live and work in a community that seeks to understand faith and society. At Whitley I daily experience being a member of a group of people on a faith journey. We have received so much from our God and Lord and we have been given it as well to share it with others.
My prayer for the staff and the students (current and potential) is the same as Paul’s in Ephesians 3:14–20:
…And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
This prayer reveals a lot about theological studies and formation; it is about understanding the width, length, height and depth of Jesus’ love for the world. We embark on this great journey of understanding together!
