Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:
- Describe the social, economic, political, and religious context of Romans and Galatians.
- Interpret selected passages from the two letters with sound interpretive methods.
- Articulate key themes in Romans and Galatians.
- Utilise interpretive tools such as Bible dictionaries, commentaries, and reference works on the New Testament.

- Two short answer tests (in total equivalent to 500 words) (20%)
- Paper for presentation (1,500 word sermon, or equivalent) (40%)
- Exegetical exercise (1,500 words) (40%)
