Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:

1. Describe the messianic expectations that preceded Jesus.
2. Differentiate between the main Christologies of the New Testament.
3. Explain the role of the Spirit in discipleship and mission.
4. Identify aspects of the relationship between culture and communication.
