English Language Requirements
All applicants for admission (whether international or domestic) must meet the English language requirements of the Admissions Policy of the University of Divinity.
The standard English language test thresholds for admission are:
- Coursework Awards IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 6.0
- Higher Degrees by Research IELTS Academic 7.0 with no band below 6.5

We can assist you in improving your conversation skills whilst studying at Whitley College. For additional English language support with your studies, please contact the Academic Dean.
Students for whom English is an additional language may be required to enrol in AL1003W English for Theological Studies, either for credit towards their undergraduate award or as an audit student.
