BIO:
Katie is our newly appointed Dean of Students. Prior to commencing her role at Whitley, Katie had been with The Salvation Army for 15 years where she held a variety of roles including church planting, youth work, leading The Salvation Army in the Northern Territory with her husband for two years, and on staff at Eva Burrows College for three years.
During her time at Eva Burrows College, Katie gained experience in student support. Her focus was helping to prepare students for ordination, and supporting them during their first five years following ordination.
Katie loves to walk alongside people as they explore life and faith, and to see them flourish as they learn to live life in all its fulness. She is married to Richard and they have three children, Miriam, Hannah and Caleb.
