Our much loved Lecturer in New Testament, Rev Cass Kwakye will leave her position at Whitley in the new year.
Cass has been living in Sydney and commuting to Melbourne for her classes. She has brought so much to our College community this year, and we are grateful for her hard work and the way she effortlessly found her place among us. Cass brought life and energy to our classroom and left a deep impression on our students.
Cass has taken this decision for personal and family reasons and says “This has been the best job I have ever had, and working with the team has been a tremendous source of joy and inspiration for me.”
We will pray for Cass as she prepares for her new role as Chaplain at Pymble Ladies College in Sydney. We’ll also be cheering her on from the sidelines as she works towards finishing her PhD without the complex logistics of all that she has been juggling.
Cass’ last day at Whitley will be January 19. We encourage you to reach out to her with your messages of encouragement and farewell.
