Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:
Undergraduate
- Analyse the interplay between age, bio-psycho-social factors, environment and culture on faith development.
- Describe and examine each era of the lifespan using appropriate developmental theories.
- Engage in critical discussion about the spiritual and religious concerns of individuals across the lifespan.
- Examine the implications of human development for person-centred and institutional ministry responses.
Postgraduate
- Analyse the interplay between age, bio-psycho-social factors, environment and culture on faith development.
- Examine each era of the lifespan by critically engaging with relevant developmental theories.
- Critically discuss the spiritual and religious concerns of individuals across the lifespan.
- Research differing person-centred and institutional ministry initiatives in the light of faith and human developmental theory.
