Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:
Undergraduate
- Demonstrate key grammatical concepts necessary for working in another language
- Identify foundational elements of Greek grammar and syntax
- Show familiarity with a basic working Greek vocabulary
- Translate small, selected portions of the Greek New Testament
- Apply a basic understanding of Greek to the reading of critical commentaries for sermon and teaching preparation.
Postgraduate
- Demonstrate key grammatical concepts necessary for working in another language

- Show familiarity with a basic working Greek vocabulary
