Study towards a PhD in Spiritual Care and Ageing
Whitley College partners with Baptcare in a strategic scholarship, named for Mary Pope, that addresses the needs of the Age Care industry sector and the ministry of Baptist churches in this area. Counselling, Chaplaincy, Spiritual Care, and theological perspectives on ageing, all fall within the scope of this scholarship programme. Whitley College and Baptcare believe that this bold, collaborative research initiative is timely and anticipates a growing interest.
This Scholarship will support a Whitley College student studying towards a PhD at the University of Divinity who is able to demonstrate that their research potentially contributes to the strategic research objectives of Baptcare and Whitley College in the area of spiritual care and ageing.
The Scholarship of up to $30,000 per annum, will be awarded at a level determined according to individual student circumstances.
