Celebrating the Publishing Achievements of our Whitley Colleages

30 Mar 2022

On Tuesday 15th March, the Whitley community gathered at our temporary location at St. Paschal to celebrate the publishing achievements of our talented colleagues.

The impressive achievements included published books, poetry, blogs, journals, articles, magazine columns and also art exhibitions. It was joyous to finally gather in person to celebrate all the wonderful work, much of it accomplished during a challenging pandemic.

A special mention goes to Mark Brett, our very humble and talented Professor of Hebrew Bible. He was the first non–North American to serve as General Editor of the Journal of Biblical Literature.
Over the past three years Mark has overseen the evaluation of more than 550 manuscripts, read approximately 1,000 reviewer reports, and issued nearly 600 publication decisions. The end result was the publication of 133 articles!
